The Africa Nations Cup, is the main international association football competition in Africa. It is organized by the Confederation of African Football, and was first held in 1957. Since 1968, it has been held every two years. The winner of the trophy will qualify for the FIFA Confederations Cup tournament.

The most successful nation in the cup`s history is Egypt.They won the tournament a record seven times. Ghana and Cameroon have won four titles each.

The 2012 Africa Nations Cup is the 28th edition and it is co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. As of 2013, the tournament will switch to being held in odd-numbered years so that it does not clash with the World Cup.

The tournament is in the group stage, the second round of games and even teams that have lost in the frist round, still have chances to qualify in the quarter-finals.

Gabon v Morocco - Gabon, one of the hosts of this competition won in the first game of group C, 2-0 against Niger. They will play the second game against Morocco, and another win in the game will take them to next phase of the tournament. Libya v Senegal - With Senegal already eliminated from the competition, Libya still has hopes to reach the quarter-finals.
