Final round of games in group D, with three teams fighting for the two places that will take into the quarter-final phase of the competition. They got a draw in the first game against France, 1-1 after a game with few goal opportunities from both teams, in a game where the spectacle was missing. But, in the second game, England and Sweden played the game of the tournament so far, with many goals scored and the thriller and spectacle were very high. England opened the score and they had 1-0 at lalf time. Soon after the start of the second half, they found themselves down 2-1 and the qualification chances diminished very much. They kept figting and managed to came back and win 3-2, result that eliminates Sweden from the tournament and gives England very high chances to qualify in the next phase.

Ukraine won the first game at this edition of Euro 2012, after being 1-0 behind Sweden, they scored two goals by Shevchenko and got a very imporant win in the first game. They needed at least a draw in the game against France to remain in the batthe for the first two places in group D, but France proved to be a better team and won 2-0. Ukraine has 3 points and the only result that will qualify them in the next stage will be a win against England. it will be very difficult as England knows that they need only one point to qualify for the next stage.

England could qualify enev with a loss, but Sweden has to beat France and this will be hard to believe as they are already eliminated from the tournament. Despite the fact they need only one point to be sure of the qualification in the next phase, the pressure will be on England as Ukraine has nothing to lose. At this point they are on the third place in group D, place that eliminates them from the tournament and only a victory will get them through. England will defend, wait for Ukraine`s attacks and they would probably obtain the qualification in the next phase.
