Super Bowl XLVI will be an teh final game to decide the 2011 NFL Champion. The trophy will be disputed between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion New England Patriots and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion New York Giants. It will be the 42nd annual championship game of the modern-era NFL and it will be played Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. This will be the first Super Bowl to be played in Indianapolis, and the first time in the history of the game it will be played in consecutive years in a retractable roof stadium.

The two finalists played against eachother in the Super Bowl XLII final in 2008, and the New York Giants won 17-14 after being led 7-3 after the first three quarters. The Patriots surely want to revenge that defeat and they will do the best they can to make sure they will win the trophy this year. They are also the favorite team, and they had a 13-3 record in the regular season, unlike The Giant`s 9-7 record in the regular season.
