Saturday 27 February 2010 - Te most interesting game of this week's Premier League fixtures appears to be the game Chelsea has to play against Manchester City. Chelsea comes after the 1-2 defeat against Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday and their moral could be lower than expected. On the other hand, Manchester City had been eliminated from the FA Cup, loosing after extra time against Stoke 1-3. The only objective for Manchester City this year remains the 4'th place that will assure the presence in the next year's Champions League preliminary rounds. But there are 4 teams separated by one point that have the same objective.

Tuesday 23 February 2010 - The title holders, Barcelona will continue their pursuit to get to the final and maybe win the trophy for a second year in a row. First stop, VfB Stuttgart. Sunday 21 February 2010 - This could be considered the derby for the last place that will take into the next season of UEFA Champions League. Manchester City is currently 4'th with 1 point ahead of Liverpool but with 2 games less played. This could enough for Manchester City to get the 4'th place, but only if they don't lose against Liverpool. If Liverpool is winning, they will go 2 points ahead of Manchester City with still 2 games to play for them. Things will get tougher for Manchester City and they surely don't want to make their life harder. If Manchester City wins, this could mean "goodbye Champions League" for Liverpool next year. It will be a distance that is going to be very hard to recover until the end of the championship. If Liverpool wins, it will all left to be played.

Saturday 20 February 2010 - Manchester got to one point behind Chelsea in the Premier League and they are in a good position for the title. They played very good football on Tuesday against AC Milan in the Champions League and they have good chances to pass to the next stage. They have to play away from home, in Liverpool against Everton, where Chelsea lost 1-2 last round. Chelsea will have a considerably easier task against Wolverhampton, and because of this Manchester United has only one option against Everton. And that is to win.

Manchester United cruised into the last 16 as Group B leaders on
13 points, while AC Milan had to see off the stubborn challenge
of Marseille to claim second spot in Group C.
Leonardo and Sir Alex Ferguson have been busy working out
tactics and battle plans but it's the return of David Beckham
that will steal the headlines.
Beckham, who spent 12 years with United before leaving for Real
Madrid in 2003, will be hoping to play some part in the game but
is not guaranteed a starting place.
Speaking to BBC Sport Beckham said "It's going to be emotional
but, as a United fan, it's the first time I am going to want them
to lose. As an AC Milan player I want to beat United - it is
important we win the game and progress to the next stage
