The new flat season in the UK is just about and all the attention is turning towards the 2000 Guineas race. The first Classic of the season is always one of the highlights of the year and 2012 crop look particularly exciting at thus stage of the year. Born to Sea remains a leading contender after a great season as a juvenile and although we are yet to see him in 2012 he could still be a major player. Camelot remains the warm favourite in the 2000 Guineas Betting after his coach confirmed he was being prepared for the race on the Rowley Mile.

They kew that the only chance they had was to defend as best as they can and try to score on fast breaks. And that`s it exactly what they did, and they did it perfectly. In the first game played in London they managed to score in the final minutes of the first half, and after the break they kept the score with a very exact defence. In the second game, everyone thought that Barcelona will score at least 3 times and assure their place in the final. But it wasen`t like that. Barcelona took a 2-0 advantage, but again, in the ending minutes of the first half Chelsea managed to they the goal they need to regain the advantage. Barcelona had a penalty at 2-1, that could have taken them n the final, but Messi sent the ball in the crossbar and that was it. They could not penetrate Chelsea`s defence and Torres scored the goal that sent Chensea in the final in the dying moments of the game.

Bayern Munich had to play against Real Madrid in the semi-final. They started the double leg as the outsiders and bookmakers credited Jupp Heynckes` team with few chances to reach the final. They also had the dissadvantage to play the frist leg at home, but thet didn`t kept them from trying to make their game and win. They played very well and got a 2-1 advantage into the second leg. Real Madrid needed a 1-0 win to get to the final and after the first 15 minutes the score was already 2-0 for them. The fans were extatic and they were already thinking at the final. But then the 27`th minute came and Bayern Munich managed to score from a penalty kick by Arjen Robben and leveled the score. After the goal scored bu the German team, both teams played with caution, and this brought the game into extra time. Nothing special happend in that period and the qualification was to be decided on penalty kicks. Real Madrid missed 3 of the 4 penalty kicks they shot and Bayern Munich produced a huge surprise, eliminating one of the top favorites.

Blackburn is in a very difficult position in thie seasin end. they managed to get only 3 points in the last 6 games and it will be very hard to get the points they need to avoid relegation, especially when they will play two games away from home of the three left, against Tottenham and Chelsea. They need a miracle to avoid relegation, but we think we have seen enough miracles this year.

This will be the second leg of the first semi-final of the 2011-2012 season in the Europa League Tournament. It has been a great season, with many teams announcing their intentions to win the trophy, with the teams from Manchester, City and United as big favorites, but with Spain showing their dominance in European and World football, having three out of the four semi-finalists.
