English League Two 2013-2014 season preview

The League Two is an English competition, dating back to 1958. Under current name we know it from 2004. Like League One , it is a division with 24 teams who will play 46 matches from August 2013 till May 2014. At the end of the season , four teams will promote in League One (top three teams in ranking and the winner of play off ) and two teams that ended at the bottom of League Two will relegate to the Conference National, and their places will be filled with teams that are promoting from Conference National and teams that are relegate from League One.

This season we will see new faces in division. We have four teams from the first league that joins the two new teams that have been promoted from lower league. Mansfield Town, with their top score player Matt Green , and Newport County , winner of Conference National play off , will try to get closer to the first places in League Two. From the League One we have four teams which have not impressed last season and were relegated: Bury, Hartlepool United , Portsmouth, Scunthorpe United .

Previous Season of England League Two

Last season , League Two it started on 18 August 2012 and ended on 27 April 2013. Four teams make it in the League One . Gillingham , the champions gathered at the end of the season 83 points ,follow by the Rotherham United team with 79 points and Port Vale with 78 points .It was a pretty close podium, battles for top posing taking it to the last round. Bradford City managed to win the play-off , beating Northampton with a score 3 to 0 and joined the other three teams in being promoted to League One. Barnet and Aldershot Town were situated on the last places in the rankings and were relegated in Conference National.
