Each year in June, the track features the Cumberland Plate and Carlisle Bell carrying on a tradition which dates back to the 17th century. The course is located just off Junction 42 of the M6 |

Right-hand undulating course of about 1m 5f in extent, with nine easy but well built fences and six hurdles per circuit. There is a severe uphill run-in of about 300yds. Suits the long striding galloping type. |
